Hi guys, I'm currently working on my industrial design grad project, which is to redesign forearm crutches that will blur the boundaries between consumer personal products and medical device. I'm in the need of gathering up information that will help me in redesigning crutches, so if you don't mind, I would like to ask you several questions and if you have anything in mind that might assist me for my design process, i really appreciate that 1. Are you male or female? 2. Since when did you need to use crutches? (age + year) 3. Are you a long-term crutch user or part-time user (currently using prosthetic)? 4. What made you using crutches? 5. Why not using prosthetic legs? 6. What's your first thoughts/impression during the first few months of wearing crutches? did you feel physically (mobility) and emotionally different? 7. Do you think that the design aspect of crutches need to be improved to look less medical? 8. Would you like to buy crutches that can be customized or personalized so that it can boost up your self-esteem? 9. Any difficulties with using crutches? 10. What would be your ideal crutches? Thank you so much!!! Cheers!
