From the Article: "The average cost to fit an i-limb quantum ranges from $80,000 to $120,000, according to the manufacturer’s spokeswoman, who noted that insurance companies may cover the costs." I'm skeptical. Insurance will usually only "help" to pay the cost of the cheapest prosthetic that'll get the job done. It's possible that someone could qualify for insurance to cover the i-Limb, but I suspect that there'd have to be special circumstances (a double-arm amputee, for instance).
