That's pretty awesome, Trevor! Osteosarcoma is also the type of cancer that took my arm back in 1972, but I've never done anything so inspirational.

I'm not sure if I have another thread on Terry Fox, but he's a Canadian Hero, who as a cancer survivor decided to run across Canada in 1980 to raise money for research and awareness for cancer (Marathon for Hope), but halfway across the country, cancer came back and he had to stop. He passed away from the disease and ever since, Canadians participate in an annual Terry Fox run to continue on his behalf. His original goal was to raise $1 for every Canadian in the country (at the time). That goal was met posthumously. terryfox.org/terrys-story/journal-map/His run was restarted and completed in later years by Steve Fonyo, (Journey for Lives). Mr. Fonyo's efforts were overshadowed by his later troubles with the law. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_FonyoTerry's marathon was the inspiration for Rick Hansen who wheeled around the world in the Man Of Motion world tour in the 80s for spinal cord injury research. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Hansen#Man_in_Motion_World_Tour
