Years ago there was a web site that was selling stump socks, liners and other consumables.
Is there a web site that we can buy from with out going to our prosthesis or orthopedic shops?

Here's a site that I found some time ago. Haven't used personally but have used it to compare prices with the clinic that I use. www.amputeesupplies.com/

thank you for responding. I thought I was not being viewed.
I know there is a way to buy things without going through the prost. shop and having them double the mark-up...
I do need a stump shrinker and a sleeve for my shower leg to start with.
Thanks again.

Up until our Masters on Wall Street (and in the City of London) managed to screw up the world, again, the pound bought lots of dollars and it was quite worth our while in the UK to buy things from US suppliers, as even with the international postal charges, they were still cheaper. I used to buy ankle braces for my 'good' leg from a place in Florida.
Now, however, the Pendulum has Swung, as it does, and we're stuck with home suppliers again. Mind, we do get our stump socks, liners, etc., free on the NHS. (And legs, feet, maintenance, in fact everything, but I wouldn't try and bring politics into it, now would I?....
Allen.
