Don't big me up too much allen!!!
barcay... the Blade is meant as a foot for both normal everyday activity AND running, it is a transition foot with the advantages of the blade for high energy return with a heel for normal walking. It's also very light. What it doesn't have is the torsional and axial compliance of the Elite VT but is suited to the higher activity.

Fair enough, I'll keep it down, oneblue - but in seriousness, we do need experts, otherwise a lot of our chat is just anecdotal. It's good to hear an educated view as well.

Not a reflex but the 1C62 Triton Harmony ( I get confused, I admit). I don't have the harmony leg, but that is the available test model.
While I was in the shop, my prosthesit said that when I did the dancing (scottish country) steps, I compressed the shock absorber completely, so I am not sure if I am getting a valid idea of the foot or not, but it certainly seems more stable. He put on the strongest shock absorber he had (I think he said a 3) but 70 Kg hoping on it was too much apparently.
So far I've only walked (and run for the bus :-) so I don't have much sense of it yet.
I very much appreciate both anecdotal and expert advice!!
