Not alcohol wipes, Greg...straight alcohol is not recommended for many liners. A good "easy" way to do a quick cleaning, though, is to purchase a good size pack of hypoallergenic baby wipes. Just pick up something at the local supermarket that's labelled "OK for sensitive skin." When you take off the liner, just wipe it with one (or two) of the baby wipes. If you're taking it off for the night, that's the entire routine...you can just leave it to air dry. If the liner is going back on immediately, dry it (and yourself) off thoroughly before you put it back on.
You still need to seriously wash off your liner with mild soap and a lot of hot water every so often, but you can go quite a while with baby wipes!
The sweating will, with a bit of luck, ease up once you get through your first summer, so just try to be patient and keep mopping it up. You'll also reach the point where your daily size changes will slow down and become more predictable, which will give you a better handle on managing the socks. Since you're in a suction system, that may start to happen pretty soon...suction is pretty good for discouraging volume change.
Hang in there...it's a crazy learning curve, but it's something you've never had to deal with before. You'll be surprised how quickly you'll get used to it and just make it part of your normal life!
