Morning Everyone,
I myself am an amputee, i chose elective amputation after a serious motorbike accident. I had 17 operations and i'd had enough and decided that amputation would lead to a more fulfilling life.
I was unable to continue in my current job and have decided to retrain and go to university, where i am now.
I'm currently preparing for my dissertation and i've decided that i want to do my dissertation on amputee veterans from the military; looking primarily at the care and prothesis they receive after their injuries.
I was wondering if anybody here would be interested in sharing their story with me as part of my dissertation. This will be solely for my lecturers to mark, but their is a small possibility it could be published if they deem of such a standard. Im very much aware that people may like to remain anonymous and that wouldn't be a problem as what ever you tell me can be completely confidential.
if you would like to help i can be contacted at michael.spraggs@student.anglia.ac.uk or on here.
Thanks for your time
Regards
Michael
