Sorry, had to do that.... ;D
Now, a question came up about the banner ads allowing this board to be free. Personally, I don't find them invasive or troublesome; certainly no more than a billboard at the side of the road.
Some folks get very agitated about ads on a website, or go to great lengths to avoid them. What are the thoughts here?

My thoughts are: They're minor compared to other sites - ahem... Facebook. I don't mind them. The only thing that kinda sorta bugs me is that they mine the forums and seem to eventually be related to the content being discussed. Well sometimes, anyway. (If we discuss jewlery (as an example) the add will remarkably be about jewlery...) I'm a member of several forums, and trust me - after a while you won't even notice them. EDIT: Hey look at that.. No sooner did I hit post - and the ad changed from Spyware Detection to Lavalife. Probably because I mentioned Facebook?

The ads don't bother me and actually after a while you don't notice them. So no problem.

Ads are not that bad, really!! Rather have them instead of having a forum one day & down the next.
