Strange thing, but yesterday I was thinking a lot of this thread. Last night, at around 3am when I was asleep (classic), I had the 2nd PP episode of the current year (the first occured end of January, yeah, I strarted writing down the dates trying to find some patterns, what triggers it etc.). Funny thing is that a few hours before that, I was searching for something to replace that Mesulid-poison I take on every PP. And the kicker is that every single drug I found was either too weak to do the trick itself (like Panadol, Depon and the like), problematic by nature (antidepressants - NO WAY, BEEN THERE - and antiepileptics - NO WAY IN HECK!) or opioids which I am not willing to take no matter what (I was taking Pethidine when I was hospitalized right after the amputation and for a month or so, no thanks!). Now, that CBD oil got my attention. I did a quick search and it seems it's legal around here (since 2016, wooohoooo!) while THC is definitely not. Helen ( snowyh ), is there any link you could give me (here or PM) for the stuff you use so I can check what kind of similar products I can find around here? If I am being honest, so far it sounds like the best route to take, at least I am willing to try it and if it works, it works. I am afraid I am going to have another PP episode tonight and so far I've never had two episodes in the row (I really hope it doesn't happen again tonight, I am still exhausted from yesterday). Thanks in advance, Nick

Hey, Nick. Are you in the US? I order my CBD from Bluebird Botanicals and Sunsoil. So far, both seem to be good products, and both offer independent lab results. I use the Complete CBD + CBDA Soft Gels from Bluebird (15mg CBD/capsule) and the Full Spectrum Hemp Extract CBD Oil Softgels from Sunsoil (20mg CBD/capsule). Bluebird is less expensive because they regularly offer sales prices (up to 50% off at times). Both companies offer discounts if you sign up for recurring delivery (40% Bluebird v. 20% Sunsoil) which can be cancelled at any time. I had previously tried all 3 of the CBD oils from Bluebird in liquid form, and found the Complete (CBD + CBDA oil) to be the most effective, but the taste was unpalatable so I switched to softgels. Hope this helps. www.bluebirdbotanicals.comwww.sunsoil.comHelen

Thanks for the infos, Helen!
Nope, I am in the EU but I it looks like I can easily find CBD products, not the same brands but this is not an issue. A few brands that seem to be "popular" around here are Enecta, Endoca, Elixinol, Kannabio etc.
I think I am going to try the CBD oil in liquid form first as it sounds it is more effective.
So, I see that one factor is quantity/dose of the product (mg) and the other is the percentage of the CBD/CBDa in that product. I can see some products that are up to 24% (wow, and really expensive).
I do understand that even with a low % product if you want to increase the CBD/CBDa intake all you have to do is take more, but is there a CBD/CBDa percentage you recommend as a starting point?
Also, should I opt for the CBD/CBDa combo instead of the CBD only?
Thanks again Helen!
