I just find it interesting because I've never seen a card to identify a person as "disabled." We don't have anything like that here nationwide, and nothing here in California either. The closest I've seen is a notice from the Department of Motor Vehicles here that's included when a person is issued a handicapped parking placard. No parking placard/no other identifying information. The idea of an ID card seems like it might come in handy in some situations. (I'm thinking of a run-in I had many years ago with a TSA agent at an airport who would not believe that my crutches and walking cast were actually necessary....yikes!!)

This is standard in most Europen Countries i think !?!?!? In Germany for shure !
When your GdB(means Level of your handicap) is higher than 50 you can use puplic Transport in complete germany one year for 80€´s or pay a low based car tax for example, also with this Card you are getting low Prices in the most puplic buildings if you like to swim or when you´re interested in art etc. for example.
To get a parking ticket for a Special parking lot, you have to be double over knee amputee min. means you must be a very bad walker to be able to get this.
(What a incredible expirience !!! )
