Hi, last WE i went to Rottweil to have a look at the Elevator test Tower. Also i went a bit to the City, it´s the oldest town in Baden-Würrtemberg build less than 100 after Jesus by some "Cesar" guy.
The Castle walk around was closed so only one view from the path. I didn´t get in cause "swabians safe Money". It´s like Neuschwanstein in Bavaria and we have Hohenzollern(ca. 40km away from me) though to walk up hard angle and many steps too !

That tower is a work of art. Nice architectural detailing in all of the other buildings too! Did you go up the tower?

No i didn´t went up to Tower cause it was closed when i was there ... they want 5€ for an amputee lift ride ... when i go there again i would like to ask if using the stairway is free !?!?!? Yes, Looks like a bit like a big drill. With a good view(clear sky) it´s possible to look down to the "Alpen"(the high mountians in south of Germany, next to french, swiss and austrian border)

Last WE i went to "Schwäbisch Gmünd" which is may 40km in North/East from Stuttgart and visit some friends. Cause i had to wait i walked a Little bit through the City. In this town the kings dealed with expensive Stones so they build this strange building:
Here one of 5 Tower´s which belong to the old wall which has protected the citizen in Kingdom times: (The horse is part of a very nature friendly flower water System)
Road to the big church og Gmünd, the bell Tower isn´t on top, he´s next to church cause they had limited high building at this time, cause in Ulm for example had the highest church Tower on earth (ca. 180m). A smaller church next to market place. (my friends told me the knew one who lived Close to bell Tower, was incredible loud)
The market place, different views:
There is still much to see, may next time !?!?!?

Yesterday i went to Ulm which is very Close to bavarian border(border line is Donau River). I climbed up to the 2nd view spot in 102m this is where the square gets into the Slim tip. Top stairway was closed so i just had 500+ Steps up and down. The stairway isn´t build for amputee´s but it´s possible to walk !!!
Thanks for watching !

Those old churches and cathedrals in Europe are amazing. I have never been to Europe, but when I was going to college I had to take architectural history courses and I would spend many hours trying to decipher the sculptures and imagining how some of the elaborate stonework was assembled for these buildings which were intended to stand for millennia. We are lucky to get 50 years out of modern construction.
Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaasssseeeee keep posting these photos! They are a real pleasure to see.

It's the stonework that I can't get enough of. The detailed carvings, the window details, the carving at the corner stone, the arch construction. All so fascinating.

I´ve been to Baden-Württemberg´s other middle, this one is the the middle of the balance of the map the other one is calculated by N/E/S/W villages of the State of Baden-Württemberg. (the middle in Tübingen Looks better(they got the nicer Stone) than in Böblingen but as Born Böblinger i´m a bit patriotic Wink) Here a pic of me on a stormy saturday on top of a viewspot behind Tübingen Hospital Hill. The Grey building with different sized Windows is where i have my Physio-Action´s !

I've googled these sites, but haven't found a clear explanation of the significance of these stones. Do you have a quick explanation?

Here i got some footage of my trip to Bodensee "the swabian sea" it´s germany´s biggest lake, next to Swiss-Austrian-Bavarien Border. If you have luck and good weather, you have nice view to the Alpen !
(view south)
(view east)
(Me in front of a statue of Mr. Zeppelin)
(central church)
(Fairy between swiss-germany)
(Upper lake view out of the Train)
(View-Tower)
(view west)
(view south direction swiss)
(on top of the view-tower at Friedrichshafen Harbor)
(Little rest at Bodensee Beach)
(This is what happens if you have air in the tip of the liner, it´s doing well but Looks much worse)

Great photos as usual. Looks absolutely beautiful there, and that water is crystal clear!
Ah yes - the dreaded water blister. The mark of an active amputee. (Which admittedly, hasn't been me lately!)

Just a Little scratch !!!
On sunday i went to Feldberg(Mountain), but there was still to much snow, so couldn´t get up to the top. Snow is for me a very bad Underground(surface). He´s our Highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg Close to 1500m over sea Level, you can find him in the south of black forest "Schwarzwald".
You could call a mountain as a big rock !!!

Thanks for sharing the latest batch. For the first few photos - it was remarkable how similar some of the countryside looks like Canada - and then we got into the photos with the incredible masonry and stonework. Those churches and cathedrals of Europe - I can stare at the detail for hours. Thanks!
