I'm a right BKA, and looking for sandals for this summer, has anyone used any of the advertised products, or any recommendations as to which work best for outdoor activities? Any input will be most appreciated

You know, I've never worn sandals in my life - even for the 19.5 years prior to losing a foot. But last summer I was curious about the same thing. I wondered though if I'd step out of them as sometimes happens when I don't tie my running shoe tight enough - sometimes I take a step and the shoe stays in the last one. Only ever happens when I'm walking across a side hill though. Because of this - I never did buy a pair of sandals... But I'll be watching this thread for opinions!

Yeah, I'm not much for sandals, just curious. I usually don't like people who come aboard my boat to wear sandals, even the two legged freaks, the sandals are liable to snag on something on deck! And seriously, I wish they came up with a better looking foot shell! I have never known anyone whose skin color is the same as the manikins at Macy's LOL!

I am a quad amputee and I only wear Chaco sandals. Year Round. I love them. The straps are adjustable so you can get it to fit the best for you foot and prosthetic.
