I'm a new LAKA amputee (June 2022) and am still working things out. Still trying to get my final socket ordered but stump is still shrinking. I'm also having an issue with sweat building up and making my sleeve slides down making my prosthetic leg to not fit right. I'm still using my temp sockets (fish bowls) to get to where I can get my final socket. Issue is in the work I'm going back to I will be doing quite a bit of walking and stairs. Right now after doing therapy for a couple hours my sleeve has slid down and my leg moves up and down more than it should. I'm still currently a stap through my leg to anchor to my sleeve. Any ideas on what I can use to stop the huge amount of sweating from my stump?

Hi Deano77. Welcome to the forum. Below-the-knee guy here, so experiences may vary...
I know this is going to sound like a lot of things you've heard already... but it gets better with time.
Over time, your body adjusts and you sweat less in the liner. That's not to say that if you are doing some yardwork on a hot day it won't get soupy in there, but eventually day-to-day wear will not come with a lot of sweat. I'm not exactly sure what the timeline for that was for me, it's been a while.
Probably not the answer you were looking for...
