The ossur silicone liner that we got with my little man's first prothetic is very expensive. I remember awhile back some people had some ideas to extend the life of the liners. I think I remember something about glue on the top. Can you guys help?

Hi there, With my Ossur seal in liner, I was given a small tube of clear silicone sealer, very much the same stuff you use in bathroom DIY to seal around baths and shower areas. I was told to put it around the top of my liner to seal the cut end, I guess to stop the outer covering from fraying. It does help. Hope this is what you mean.

With kiddies skin, you really need to check what you should use. And, if the socket is fitting well, the liner should last the best part of a year.

I use Ossur liners and I have had very good luck with them. I have found them to be very durable. I am very active and I haven't had any problems with them breaking down or getting holes in them. Hopefully they will be durable for your son.
