Very cool, mitchee! I know a fellow whose primary mobility device is a Segway...he goes wherever he wants to, and he certainly stands out in a crowd!

its great program for a vet if your served after 9/11 you can get one for free if you sever before that there is no help or cost reduction makes me mad the VA will pay for a motorized chair if i want it but not a sega way they cost the same

I didn't realize that the program was limited to post 9/11 veterans. :-(
Hopefully they will expand the program to include more veterans.

I've ridden a Segway and they are great... sadly they are illegal in public in the UK, so are of little use. I had a go on one at Leeds Castle in Kent, it's a great way to get around on private property.

I cant usderstand why the would be rulled out in the UK....that is a complete slap across the face for the chalanged. Geeeeeeeeeeeesh.
