Hey,
I'm writing an article on phantom limb pain and mirror therapy.
If any of you have tried the mirror therapy and had success with it I would be very happy to hear from you.
Unfortunately I'm running short on time, so if possible give me a call/write me text message before Monday 21st of November. I'll call you up so you don't have to pay for the conversation, Thanks in advance, Lise Freelance journalist Phone: (+1) 514-983-5206

Seems reasonable (except for that 'Hey', but that's just me being old-fashioned and English), so I'll leave it in for now. Any objections, let me (or stonecutter) know, and we'll delete it...

I was going to bite my tongue, but now that you've given me an invitation.....3 days to gather an evaluated data (from this site) ? Sounds like sloppy work to me and I think we deserve better.

Been away from the boards and thus too late to get this one pulled. Our friend Lise self-identifies as an exchange student in this last-minute posting to Craigslist: montreal.fr.craigslist.ca/bik/2708896096.htmlFreelance journalist? I don't think so. I'd like to see a moratorium on these sorts of postings.

It's difficult, ampgk - when someone comes to the forum and is obviously (by their email address, for example) not a 'genuine' person, but carrying their own agenda, either stonecutter or me (as we're the first guardians of the gate) will deny them entry, but with this particular nuisance, we have to wait till we see what they post.
And then we're hampered by our old-fashioned liberalism, i.e. that no-one voted for either me or Stonecutter to be the arbiters of such things. Running a democratic board is harder than the alternatives!
But, comments taken on board, and next time such a 'journalist' pops up we might be quicker to cut them short.
Best wishes,
Allen.

Interesting info, ampgk, as the first thing that popped into my mind on reading Lise's posting was "that sounds a whole lot like a grad student who put off research on a paper for too long." After spending 30 years working as secretary in educational administration, I got to the point where I could recognize a grad student looking for research "shortcuts" from the intake of breath and the rushed "hi there" when they called my office.......
