Hello folks and a good day to all.
Thought I should introduce myself so that when I post something folks don't say "Who is that guy?". My name is Marc and I'm from southern Indiana in the USA. I'm a Type 1 diabetic since I was 8 years old and I'm now 58, so most all my life.
Had my original amputation LBK in October 2006 after fighting complications of diabetes for several years. The first surgery was botched and after suffering for another 4 years, I had a revision done in 2010. Much better results and I've had few problems since.
After all this time I still have questions and that's the reason I'm here. Hopefully, some of you folks will be able to give me advice or at least point me in the right direction. Will leave it at that for the time being.

Hi, Marc, and welcome to the board! Glad to see you're not shy, and already posting freely. We have a lot of good members, but not everyone has the chance to stop by and chat all that often. We appreciate your participation.

Hi, Marc, and welcome! Ask away....there's likely to be someone around who can offer advice. And do feel free to jump in with your own opinions and experience as well.

Hi Marc, and welcome, I'm fairly new on here myself. I have found everyone welcoming and more than happy to answer question and 'listen' to what I have to say, I feel it's a safe bunch of people to be with
