My friend has been an above knee amputee for 8 years now, back in February she was put in a leg that has a suction socket, when it was new it was great... Since then she has become more active and is having a time keeping her weight up.. So now she is having a problem with pistoning and bottoming out in the socket... We have already cut down an old liner and she wears it over her new liner above the 5 ring gasket... Any further ideas she could use until she can be refitted to make her more comfortable?
