After my last great medical ordeal, I was left without a fibula. No great problem thought I as it left me with a better, more symmetrical conical shape. The problem came when we realized the surgery left a Four degree bend in my knee. Unable to hyper-extend it all had to be built into the new socket. This is not working well. Any suggestions are welcome please.

Snarfler, have you been through physical therapy for the knee bend? Is the four-degree bend going to be with you forever? I know that a lot can be done to adjust socket angle, foot alignment, etc...but not sure how much your bend would impact that......Does your prosthetist have experience in fitting a socket under that circumstance? If not, is a referral to someone who has experience in fitting with a bent knee possible?
I have a friend who has just been through a total knee replacement and is recovering at home. He's been covered for a dandy little machine that puts him through sessions of "passive flexion" to try to restore range of motion to the leg with the new knee...He can control it down to single degrees of flex, and it seems to help him. Would that sort of creature be helpful in slowly "stretching out" whatever has constricted to cause your bend?
Just grasping at straws, here, but maybe it will trigger an idea with you or some other member.......

Thank you Cherylm for responding. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. One candle can light another. Then another. Then another. Until our collective knowledge deafeats the darkness and makes life easier and less painful for all of us who must ride this equipment to live happy and rewarding lives.
I have gone through Therapy and employed the passive torture device your friend uses all to no avail. I consulted an Orthopod thinking he might be able to release the constriction but there are many risks involved that may leave me unable to wear a prostheses at all. Their suggestion is to remove the knee altogether and be a functioning AK. There isn't an AK in this world who would support this suggestion.
My Prosthetist is a fantastic man whom I found by an act of divine providence. A long story that I'd be happy to share. I've enclosed a photo of how he incorporated the bend into the socket. Attachments:
