Been a BKA for 20 years now. Lost my left foot and ankle due to a motorcycle accident that hurt my foot real bad when I was 19.
I tell it like it is and am happy to share anything that may make you more comfortable, or help with any fears or question you may have.
I recently got an infection in my stump, so I can help anyone who needs help, or has questions about getting over an infection and back on their prosthetic.
Only people who I allow to know I am an amputee get to know most of the time. 99% of people don't even notice even when I wear shorts sometimes.
So yeah, hi!

Hi, vader7...sounds like you can be of help to some of our "newbies"........I'm also a LBK for almost 10 years. I know a heck of a lot of amputees who lost bits in motorcycle accidents and a lot of those folks still ride...how about you?
