Hi my name is Phil (Stumpy62). I had my procedure (Below knee, left leg) approximately four and a half years ago. I still have problems with the skin at the base of my leg being brittle. This can usually be remedied with different creams and potions. Recently I have developed RAGING pins and needles. I just wondered if anyone had encountered the same problem and if anybody had any remedies which worked for them that may work for me!!
Many thanks in advance!

A possible fix is to have your practitioner apply a shim across your PTB which will releave pressure in the distal cup.

I'm not going to be as specific as snarfler, but it does sound like it could be a fit problem with your socket. Have you had any noticeable changes in stump size that coincided with the onset of the "pins and needles"? settling too far into the socket could create enough pressure to set off pains. Do have it checked out by your leg team.

Thanks for the heads up people. I will ask the team to have a look at both suggestions.
Many thanks again!
Phil
