Hi everyone Just thought I'd say a quick hello. My name is Glenn and I'm a right above knee amputee as of Sept 11th 2007. I found out about this forum through my friend Lynne. I actually run a group on Facebook called Facebook Amputees so may know a few of you. Lynne knew I was a keen cyclist and happened to mention there was a thread on here that someone may need some help with so I decided to join up and go see if I can find it and maybe help out. Glenn

Hello Glenn.
Good to have you on board. Have a look at the 'Cycling' thread under Sports. You'll see that my tendency is towards BIKE modification rather than a LEG modification, and some of the tricks I've learned might apply to AKA cyclists as well as BKA.
But I'm sure you'll be able to teach us as much as you might learn...
Allen, bka, London.

Hi Glen, Thanks for popping by.
Feel free to throw your two pennyworth in.
This is a fairly new forum and can be quiet at times but stick around.

Hi Glenn, Welcome to the forum. I am also an avid cyclist. I am a BK so I'm sure that there are some differences in our riding styles. I look forward to trading cycling tips with you. Michelle

Hi Glenn
Welcome to the forum, think we have spoken on FB a few times, but I have prob not gone by this name.
I am bilateral b/k, I am not too into cycling but am sure you will find people on here who are.
Ann

Hi, Glenn, and welcome! LBK here...used to be an avid cyclist but have found myself oddly reluctant to try since my amp. I keep reading the various "tips and tricks" and trying to get my courage up!

Hello Glenn-
We're "friended" on FB but I'm glad to see you here as well! This board is obviously more amp-focused, which I like.
