One posting maybe, but two? The poster/inventor/owner didn't even have the courtesy of leaving his name.
I'll withhold my opinion of "running" while seated in a vehicle for another time...

Kind of.
Had I come across the GlideCycle website on my own, I would have posted about it here as a resource for amputees, as I do believe it is of interest to our group. We are a discussion group, after all.
What I take offense to is Mr. Vidmar's second post, in which he presents himself to be Holly, a 50-yr-old female amputee, and posts a link to her story. If the GlideCycle has so many amputee fans, why couldn't Mr. Vidmar (the founder of GlideCycle) have gotten one of them to join our group and post about how their life has been transformed by the device? It would have been far more effective, and less open to crticism.

The short answer is: Yes. Allen and I had a brief exchange of ideas on the topic and agreed that this type of posting will not be permitted. It's one thing if an actual amputee joins up to share what does and/or does not work for them, but to have vendors sign up and pitch their product as a cold solicitation is not the spirit of what we wanted to create here. We have made amendments to the Rules & Regulations as a result of this situation. Thanks folks!
