My husband is a new amputee (May), received foot about 3 weeks ago. His liner has a pin. He alternates between 2 liners. We wipe the liners down every night with unscented mild soap and let it dry on drying pin.
Two days ago we had appointment with doctor and she noticed red Marks on his leg that matched lines in liner (think defect in liner, new one ordered) We all thought that they would fade. As of today those areas are bright red. He has not worn his foot at all today, and there has been no change in redness.
Any thoughts? Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Kim
